What You'll Do
  • Participate in agile software development practices and contribute to planning, estimation, and delivery
  • Maintain close communication with business stakeholders and IT teams to understand requirements and ensure alignment
  • Design and develop high-quality backend solutions using Java Quarkus (and Spring Boot when required)
  • Build and maintain cloud-native services within AWS environments
  • Support and maintain the production environment, ensuring system reliability and uptime
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and deliver clean, scalable code
  • Work with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS)
What You'll Bring
  • Strong experience with Java development (Java 8–11)
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services such as SQS, SNS, Lambda, DynamoDB, and CloudWatch
  • Practical knowledge of relational databases, specifically MySQL
  • Experience building microservices using Java Quarkus and/or Spring Boot
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and incoming requests
  • Experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with technical and business teams
Nice to Have
  • English communication skills (not mandatory)
  • Familiarity with REST architecture and API best practices
  • Clear, structured communication — able to explain technical concepts to all audiences
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration with diverse, cross-functional teams
  • Critical thinking and logical problem-solving skills
  • Proactive attitude — ability to take initiative without detailed instructions
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new tools/technologies
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and quality
