Senior Full Stack Engineer

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer in EMEA.

In this role, you will contribute to the development of a large-scale platform used globally, building high-performing features across both front-end and back-end environments. You will work within a collaborative, cross-functional engineering team that values clean architecture, scalability, and maintainability. You will help design and enhance systems that support a high volume of users, ensuring reliability and performance at all times. • Accountabilities
• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using TypeScript, JavaScript, React, and Express, with additional experience in NestJS, Vite, or considered a plus.
• Build and optimize server-side APIs, data models, and business logic, primarily using the Express framework.
• Develop reusable React components, hooks, stories, and tests to support scalable front-end functionality.
• Design and optimize database schemas and queries with Postgres, ensuring performance and reliability.
• Implement modular, maintainable code on both front-end and back-end layers to support long-term scalability.
• Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to deliver high-quality, stable applications.
• Stay informed about emerging development trends and recommend improvements to tools, processes, and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to maintain technical excellence.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders regarding progress, technical choices, and challenges.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives affecting workflows, methodologies, and engineering standards.
• Requirements
• Minimum of 8 years of full-stack engineering experience with strong expertise in TypeScript.
• Proven ability to design, develop, test, and maintain applications using modern JavaScript and TypeScript frameworks.
• Comfortable working in a collaborative, remote-first environment, contributing proactively to team success.
• Strong sense of ownership and autonomy, combined with the ability to work seamlessly within a team.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Passion for solving customer-facing problems, with strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities.
• A business-oriented approach to development, focused on delivering high-impact and user-centered solutions.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional user experiences.
• Bonus points for experience with SaaS platforms operating at scale, microservices, REST APIs, asynchronous programming, testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, Chai, React Testing Library, Storybook, Cypress, or containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
