About The Role
Platform Science is looking for a skilled Lead DevOps Engineer to join a critical team responsible for maintaining core systems that must remain stable, secure, and compliant across a wide range of technologies and challenges. This position may also require leading and coordinating work within the team and across other groups.

Essential Responsibilities

• Support tickets from various product teams covering diverse technologies such as Kubernetes, Terraform, Linux, and AWS.
• Maintain and improve critical systems to ensure stability, security, and compliance.
• Participate in and lead project work to enhance existing infrastructure.
• Automate and implement systems that improve reliability and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with other teams to deliver cross-functional solutions.

Experience

• Strong experience administering Kubernetes clusters.
• Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Buildkite).
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Terragrunt, or others.
• Experience with programming or scripting languages such as Python, Golang, or Bash.
• Solid understanding of Linux distributions.
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider: AWS, Azure, or GCP (preferably AWS).
• Completed Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
• Advanced English.
• Live in Brazil.

Will be considered a plus

• Proven leadership experience, including leading and coordinating engineering work.
• Experience with Buildkite.
• Kubernetes certifications.
• Terraform certifications.
• Cloud certifications.
• Experience implementing and maintaining microservices.
