Role Description:
Responsible for ensuring the company's tax compliance, including tax calculations, ancillary obligations, and managing inspections. The role requires strong knowledge of federal, state, and municipal tax legislation, with expertise in both direct and indirect tax calculation, and experience in high-volume operational environments.
Main Responsibilities:
- Calculate and reconcile direct and indirect taxes (ISS, IRPJ, CSLL, PIS, COFINS), with special focus on applying tax benefits in the healthcare sector;
- Manage tax calculations under both lucro real and lucro presumido regimes;
- Prepare and submit ancillary obligations (DCTFWeb, EFD-Contribuições, EFD-Reinf, ECF, DIRF, among others);
- Participate in improvement and automation projects in Protheus, ensuring all tax routines are managed 100% through the system;
- Provide support for audits, tenders, and inspections by regulatory authorities;
- Control and manage certificates and other tax-related documentation;
- Perform reconciliation of tax accounts, balance analysis, and tax provisions;
- Understand accounting impacts to ensure proper validation of tax postings in the accounting system;
- Support tax credit analysis and recovery, including exemptions and immunities specific to the healthcare sector;
- Work closely with Accounting, Treasury, Billing, and clinical units to ensure accurate tax records.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration;
- Advanced Excel skills (formulas, spreadsheets, pivot tables) are mandatory;
- Strong experience with ERP systems, including full understanding of module integrations, setups, reporting, and related tools;
- Solid knowledge of all tax routines;
- Previous experience in Accounting is a plus;
- Postgraduate degree or MBA in Taxation, Accounting, or Controllership is a differential.
