WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Senior Engineer on Braze's AI Customer Interface team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our AI decisioning solutions. You will work on high-impact initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and excellence in our product offerings.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting Braze's self-serve AI Decisioning product built in and TypeScript
• Rebuilding the application in React, and integrating it with other customer engagement platform APIs
• Building new interfaces that provide insights into the performance and behavior of AI decisioning agents
• Building new experiences that allow users to customize their own AI Decisioning-powered marketing campaigns
• Influencing Braze's product strategy and roadmap by providing technical insights and driving innovation in user experience

WHO YOU ARE

• Have 5+ years of relevant experience with a strong track record of success
• Are a master at working in modern frontend languages and frameworks (TypeScript, React, Vue, Angular, etc)
• Have experience with backend development
• Have significant experience with frontend testing frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Playwright)
• Have a user-centric attitude and care deeply about UX
• Pride yourself on writing elegant, maintainable code
• Are comfortable working in a large frontend codebase with many stakeholders
• Strongly preferred:
  • Experience developing user experiences for machine learning and data-intensive applications
  • Experience with Ruby on Rails and/or Python
  • Familiarity with reinforcement learning concepts and applications
