Job Description

Legal Counsel position to support all general legal activities at Latin America regional office, specifically with Contracts, Consulting and Strategic Litigation matters. This position will be assigned to review contracts requested by multiple business areas, from commercial to management support teams, negotiating contract with both external and internal stakeholders. The Counsel will also review the legal matters consulted, providing advice on the most diverse subjects in the region, including data protection laws, as well as other applicable laws, such as civil, corporate, consumer protection and tax. The counsel will be responsible to support the area in drafting reports, organizing documents and other administrative requests.

Key Job Responsabilities

• Contract: review of variety of contracts, such as marketing, rental, commercial and vendor service agreements.
• Data Protection: review of terms and conditions, privacy policy and coordinate review of general matters consulted by Global and Regional Offices. Consulting matters for new products, services and advertising/selling strategies that involve processing of personal data. Assistance on planning and implementing annual trainings.
• Consulting: coordinate review of general matters submitted by Global and Regional Offices, such as legal requirements to launch new product and service, marketing and sales campaigns, etc.
• Support to Subsidiaries' local legal team: coordinate and review strategic cases handled by local office, providing insights and supports on demand. Our Subsidiaries are located in almost all Latin America countries, including Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Panama and Peru.
• Others: help with administrative works of the area, such as organizing periodic reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Law required.
• Advanced english skills.
• Proven experience in Law offices.
• Experience reviewing contracts
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
• Advanced English skills.
• Spanish skills will be considered a plus.
