Grundfos is looking for a Data Engineer to join our Process Intelligence team in Group Supply Chain, where you will help shape the future of digital twins and data-driven decision-making across multiple business process areas - not limited to Supply Chain. You will join a multinational department with 6 colleagues, all working with performance that enables efficient decision making in core business processes, and process mining to unlock potential for process optimization, automation and conformance. What is the job about?

As a Data Engineer, you will develop and maintain medium-complex data models that span multiple functional areas. These models power our advanced analytics and process mining tools, enabling real-time insights and automation across Grundfos. You will work with advanced coding, APIs, and ERP connectivity —primarily SAP— to ensure data integrity, performance, compliance and security.

You will collaborate with process owners, IT specialists, and analytics teams to build scalable, secure, and documented data models. You will also play a key role in upskilling colleagues and validating analytics to ensure quality and consistency.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Independently develop and maintain data models and transformations for analytics, process mining and automation.
  • Connect live ERP systems (e.g., SAP) to analytics platforms using APIs and custom code.
  • Ensure data model compliance with security and documentation standards.
  • Optimize system performance and data model efficiency.
  • Collaborate with IT teams and process excellence functions across the organization.
  • Upskill data analysts and business users on data model usage and analytics.
  • Participate in peer validation of analytics to ensure stakeholder-ready outputs.

The position is full time and will be based in Indjija, Serbia. A permanent residence is required. No relocation will be supported.

What do you need to apply?

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Business Engineering, Data Science — or equivalent experience
  • 3–4 years of experience in data modelling, ideally within process mining platforms
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL/PQL, and other advanced coding languages
  • Strong understanding of business processes and their interdependence
  • Experience with process analysis, problem-solving, and project/change management
  • A curious mindset, collaborative spirit, and eagerness to learn and share knowledge
  • You have an international outlook and speak and write English fluently.
