Junior Mechanical Engineer

Our team in Brazil is growing, we are currently recruiting for a Junior Mechanical Engineer to join our Minerals & Metals Business line in the in Belo Horizonte office.
About the role:
- Responsible for preparing engineering documents in the mechanical discipline;
- Verification and support in the development of mechanical layouts, conceptual, basic, and detailed designs;
- Development of technical activities for belt conveyor and boiler calculations;
- Participation in meetings to interface with suppliers and international consultants, applying technical solutions.
About you:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering;
- Experience in the development of large- and medium-scale Mining projects in 2D and 3D BIM;
- Knowledge of simulation software (FEM) and mechanical calculations;
- Experience in sizing bulk handling and transport equipment, as well as boiler calculations;
- Strong communication skills and articulate demeanor;
- English and Spanish are considered an asset.
