Job Description Summary
The IT analist role will be responsible for the development of applications to support the corporate functions operation globally (Legal, HR and others). The applications can be used internally at Lenovo or external once contracted as a service by any customer. The analyst will work with business stakeholders and other IT team members to understand the requirements and work on the implementation of system solution. The work can involve development to fix bugs, implement new functions, enhance existing features, development of reports, but not limited to this.

Job Description

  • Engage closely with business stakeholders and other IT groups to get the solution implemented.
  • Translate the business requirements into technical specification (write detailed stories that capture business requirement, design system diagrams, data, process and approval flows, diagrams of system integrations, etc)
  • Use planning tools such as Jira to document project development.
  • Support data extract, analysis, transformation and upload process across different systems databases.
  • Responsible for unit and integrated testing processes to ensure that developed solutions meet business requirements and use case scenarios.
  • Responsible for preparing training documentation and for delivering training to users in the application.
  • Support business daily operation through ticket resolution, need to have the ability to debug code, identify root cause and fix issue.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree (degree in information systems technology or computer information system management preferred)

Recently graduated or in the last period of university

Java / Front End developer

Required Technical Skills
Java and Java script

Java components: - Frontend

Open-source database product: PostgreSQL

Agile lifecycle management tools: JIRA, Gitlab and Confluence

Languages
English: fluent both written and oral

Spanish: intermediate
