Role Description

We are looking for a
Full Stack Software Engineer
to join our core team in São Paulo. You'll play a pivotal role in designing and building global banking products from the ground up — including
bank accounts, cards, payment processing, and stablecoin integrations
.

This is a rare opportunity to work at the intersection of
blockchain and global banking
, solving complex challenges in scaling secure, compliant, and user-friendly financial infrastructure across multiple markets.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain
    front-end and back-end web applications
    powering Nexos' banking platform.
  • Develop integrations with
    local stablecoins
    , payment networks, and global financial institutions.
  • Build core features of the
    banking stack
    — from onboarding and KYC to accounts, cards, and payments.
  • Ensure the highest standards of
    security, reliability, and scalability
    .
  • Collaborate closely with founders, product, and business teams to shape Nexos' technology roadmap.
  • Work in a fast-paced,
    startup environment
    , where speed, ownership, and creativity matter.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in
    Back-End and Full-Stack Development
    , with strong skills in
    Python
    (preferred).
  • Proficiency in
    Front-End Development
    (React, , TypeScript, CSS).
  • Solid understanding of
    software engineering best practices
    (testing, code reviews, CI/CD).
  • Experience working with
    APIs, databases, and cloud platforms
    (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Familiarity with
    web security practices
    and secure coding principles.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a team setting.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred, not mandatory).
  • Experience in fintech, payments, or blockchain is a
    big plus
    .
