Purpose of the role

We are looking for a Data Scientist to develop analytical solutions that drive strategic decision-making. You will be responsible for creating the concepts and implementing statistical models, building end-to-end AI products on Azure DevOps, and presenting insights to senior leadership.

We expect a professional with experience in ETL, exploratory data analysis, and predictive modeling, as well as knowledge in SQL, Python, R, and libraries such as TensorFlow, Keras, and PyTorch. Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud, or AWS) will be a advantage.

Responsibilities and assignments


• Create concepts for the analytical solution for business problems by implementing statistical models and programming techniques.


• Ensure that any obstacles in implementation are communicated to the Analytics Manager to avoid project timeline impacts.


• Create end-to-end AI products using Azure and DevOps.


• Document all aspects of the project in a standardized manner for future usage.


• Storyboard and present insights to senior leadership.

Requirements and Qualifications


• Experience in Data Science, preferably in the CPG domain.


• Proficiency in ETL and exploratory data analysis (EDA).


• Experience working with large volumes of real data using SQL (Teradata, Oracle, or MySQL) and R, or another statistical program.


• Knowledge in implementing machine learning and deep learning algorithms.


• Exposure to working with complex datasets, machine learning, and deep learning libraries such as Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, or such.


• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Applied Statistics, Economics, Econometrics, Operations Research, or any other quantitative analysis field.


• Ability to create insightful visualizations in Python and R.


• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, Google Cloud, or AWS will be an advantage.


• Fluent in English. Spanish fluency will be a advantage.


• Proficiency in programming languages (Python, R) is mandatory.


• Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.


• Strong knowledge of SQL.
