About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced
Senior DevOps Engineer
to drive the scalability, security, and reliability of our cloud-based infrastructure. You will play a critical role in building CI/CD pipelines, automating deployments, improving monitoring, and defining the DevOps roadmap for a rapidly growing product ecosystem.

This position will also involve managing code merges for multiple projects sharing the same code base, automating production deployments, and consulting on AWS infrastructure architecture and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred).
  • Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.
  • Manage code merges and branching strategies across shared repositories.
  • Automate deployments and infrastructure provisioning with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
  • Monitor system performance and implement disaster recovery and high-availability strategies.
  • Improve observability through logging, alerting, and monitoring tools (Datadog, CloudWatch, Prometheus, etc.).
  • Collaborate closely with backend, QA, and product teams to streamline releases.
  • Enforce cloud security and compliance best practices.
  • Automate repetitive tasks to reduce human error and increase efficiency.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or similar roles.
  • Strong proficiency with AWS and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
  • Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
  • Solid scripting skills with Python, Bash, or similar languages.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or other orchestration platforms.
  • Experience with monitoring/alerting platforms such as Datadog, Prometheus, or CloudWatch.
  • Strong understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture best practices.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, fully remote environment

Nice to Have

  • Experience with serverless tools like Lambda or API Gateway.
  • Familiarity with SOC2, ISO 27001, or other compliance frameworks.
  • Exposure to automotive or insurance technology industries.

Compensation
