Job Description
Job Description: Manage data integrity, security and access in our PLM system including issuing item numbers for product/documentation, item creation, change requests, change orders creation, reporting, attribute maintenance, active item list and end of life maintenance, integration and data extracts, supporting automation initiatives and support data integrity into downstream tools.

Duties Include And Not Limited To

  • Data integrity and security, and accurate maintenance of product lifecycle data in our Engineering and management tools.
  • Accurate item record creation including consistent naming convention, data fields selections, change order creation including consistent summary and description, linking relevant processes to the items or changes.
  • Data entry into database, including creation of requests and change orders per company approval and tracking process.
  • Also includes tasks such as reports, testing and subsequent write ups, and mass database updates via CSV upload
  • Resolve integration issues
  • Implement process and procedures to improve data integrity and efficiency
  • Support engineering for data attributes and architecture
  • Special projects such as problem solving and improving processes.
  • Process flow, procedure creation and implementation
  • Permissions, access and license maintenance

Skills Required

  • Critical thinker: able to sort out complex problems and voice potential solutions
  • Team player: able to work with a varied team and other departments, get along with others; also must be able to both work independently or take direction as the situation calls for it
  • Experience with Solidworks and other design drafting tools, with ability to follow best practices and good standards as it pertains to maintaining relevant data on the document or drawing and uploading files into database.
  • Experienced with Product Lifecycle Management systems, bonus if experienced with tools such as Arena, NetSuite, Salesforce
  • Minimum 2 years of database maintenance experience, or equivalent university program experience may be considered.
