As part of our continuous growth, we are looking for an experienced
Product Owner – Markets (FX)
to join our team in São Paulo (Hybrid). If you have prior experience in Foreign Exchange projects, a strong understanding of spot and forward markets, and the ability to balance technical and business perspectives, this opportunity is for you.

What You'll Do

  • Act as Product Owner for FX-related initiatives, aligning business needs with technical execution.
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring clear communication with development and business teams.
  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders (Front, Middle, Back, and Compliance) to translate regulatory and business requirements into actionable user stories.
  • Oversee progress and validate deliverables through sprint reviews and acceptance criteria.
  • Define product vision and roadmap for FX features, ensuring alignment with regulatory constraints and business priorities.
  • Facilitate ceremonies (planning, refinement, demos) and support the squad during delivery and post-production stabilization.
  • Work with UX, architects and engineers to ensure solutions are feasible, compliant and deliver measurable business value.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Solid understanding of the
    FX market (spot and forward)
    .
  • Familiarity with
    FX regulatory frameworks and compliance
    requirements.
  • Proven experience as a
    Product Owner
    in financial or banking environments.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with both technical and business teams.
  • Demonstrable experience managing and prioritizing backlogs in Agile teams.
  • Fluency in
    English and/or Spanish
    .
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and make data-informed decisions in dynamic environments.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in
    process mapping and flow design
    .
  • Knowledge of
    backlog management tools
    and agile prioritization techniques.
  • Strong analytical mindset for understanding business logic and dependencies.
  • Experience working under pressure and managing multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
  • Collaborative, adaptable profile with a proactive attitude and good stakeholder management skills.
  • Prior exposure to treasury, trading systems or other Markets domains.
