About The Role
Risk Management unit Latin America is seeking a proactive intern to join a fast-paced technical safety consultancy at the cutting edge of risk analysis techniques. This a great opportunity to be part of a motivated team that is a trusted voice to tackle global transformations and challenges, helping our customers in achieving the safety of their assets and operations.

The Risk Management team in Brazil provide a wide range of advisory safety engineering and risk management services to the energy industry, for CAPEX and OPEX projects, in Brazil and other Latin American countries.

The Process safety Intern reports to a Team Leader and has responsibility of supporting with technical delivery of projects under the guidance of more senior members of the team.

Energy Systems Is Searching For a Intern To The Risk Management Latin America Team, To Perform With The Main Tasks As Below

  • Support on technical report analyses (HAZID, HAZOP, QRA, Human factors, gas dispersion, computational fluid dynamics analysis,...)
  • Support on safety improvements projects
  • Support on development of CFD, explosion/fire calculation
  • Knowledge on Process Safety discipline – very desirable
  • Support on technical/administrative tasks, such as technical reports, presentation, statement capability and others
  • Digitalization mindset

About You

  • Studying Chemical Engineering or Industrial Chemistry - graduation predicted to Dec 2027 onwards
  • Fluent in English and Portuguese
  • Advanced in Spanish (desired)
  • Solid knowledge in office package (word, excel, powerpoint)
  • Proactive and critical thinking
  • Digitalization oriented (Power BI, VBA or Python are desirable)
  • Team spirit
