Our client is a large Brazilian industrial company with global operations and a strong presence in the polymers market.

We are seeking a Supply Chain Director to lead and transform the area into an integrated and sustainable approach, ensuring supply reliability, operational efficiency, and competitiveness in the global polymers market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the supply chain strategy, aligned with sustainability, innovation, and business growth, ensuring global competitiveness;
  • Manage global sourcing and raw material import operations, ensuring logistical predictability, regulatory compliance, and cost control;
  • Build and consolidate a resilient supply chain focused on efficiency, risk mitigation, and total cost optimization;
  • Implement advanced demand planning and S&OP models, integrating Production, Sales, PCP, and Product Engineering;
  • Lead strategic projects in logistics and productivity optimization, driving differentiation in quality, responsiveness, and customer service levels;
  • Oversee and integrate Procurement , Inventory, PCP, Facilities, and Freight, ensuring operational excellence, strong governance, and the development of high-performance teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Administration, Engineering, Logistics, or related fields; MBA or postgraduate studies in Supply Chain, Operations, or related areas is desirable;
  • Proven experience in global supply chains, with strong expertise in imports, international procurement, and multimodal logistics;
  • Strong knowledge of integrated planning (S&OP), regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation in global operations;
  • Background in highly competitive, margin-sensitive markets such as polymers, plastics, chemicals, or petrochemicals;
  • Solid expertise in procurement and supply processes, ensuring compliance and governance;
  • Previous experience in Director or Senior Management roles;
  • Fluent English (mandatory).
