Position Overview:

We are looking for highly skilled Structural Engineers with at least two years of remote experience working for a US company in Woodframe projects, mainly residential. As a part of our exclusive network, you will have the opportunity to be presented to leading engineering firms and projects in need of your expertise. This is not a direct hire for but an opportunity to join our vetted network of professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and analyze structural components and systems for woodframe residential projects.
  • Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and construction documents using CAD software.
  • Conduct structural assessments and provide solutions for existing structures.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure project success.
  • Perform calculations to ensure the structural integrity of designs.
  • Review and approve structural shop drawings and submittals.
  • Monitor construction processes and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in structural engineering.
  • At least 2 years of remote work experience with a US-based company.
  • Proficiency in EnerCalc and Bluebeam.
  • Strong skills in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit).
  • Excellent understanding of US building codes and standards (IBC, AISC, ACI).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
