Senior Fullstack Developer

We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer for one of our longest-running projects. Your main responsibility will be contributing to the project, collaborating with an already established team from Space Inch's side while also working closely with the client's team as well. The client is a large FinTech company and we have multiple projects running with them in parallel.

About Working at Space Inch

• Our team is around 70+ people, primarily based in Croatia, but also members in South America, Serbia, and the US; the product team mostly being in the US, and engineering in Croatia and Brazil
• We are remote-first, but occasional travel may be required, e.g. for annual company retreats in Croatia

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software development experience
• 5+ years of experience with and TypeScript (especially Vue 3, Composition API)
• Strong experience with Python for backend development
• Solid understanding of APIs, backend architecture, and database integration
• Strong skills in Tailwind CSS, Storybook, and component-based architectures
• Good knowledge of frontend performance optimization and responsive design
• Experience with testing practices across frontend and backend (unit, integration, end-to-end)
• Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken)
• Must be based in Brazil

Key Responsibilities

• Own the architecture, implementation, and maintenance of both frontend ) and backend (Python) systems
• Build scalable, high-quality web applications end-to-end, from UI to backend services
• Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and engineering teams to shape technical solutions
• Develop, document, and maintain APIs, backend business logic, and integrations with internal and external services
• Optimize application performance across frontend and backend layers
• Conduct code reviews and mentor other developers on best practices for both stacks
• Ensure coding standards, system reliability, and high engineering quality across the codebase
• Stay current with industry trends, evaluate new technologies, and propose continuous improvements
