Job Title: API Optimization Manager – Latin America (Remote)
Location: Remote (Open to candidates residing anywhere in Latin America – citizens or permanent residents)

We are seeking a skilled API Optimization Manager to join our commercial team. This role is key to ensuring our API solutions are fully optimized, delivering exceptional value to our partners while supporting our strategic business objectives.
Role Overview: The API Optimization Manager will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and improving the performance of our API integrations. You will act as the technical bridge between our partners, commercial team, and internal technical teams, ensuring smooth API usage, resolving technical issues, and driving growth through effective API adoption.
Key Responsibilities: 1. API Optimization - Monitor API performance using data-driven insights to identify areas of improvement. - Ensure partners are effectively utilizing APIs to maximize engagement and growth.
- Analyze technical performance metrics such as error rates, traffic, and look-to-book ratios.

2. Work closely with commercial, technical, and product teams to enhance the API offering.
3. Translate technical performance insights into actionable business recommendations.
4. Technical Troubleshooting
5. Provide technical support to partners regarding API usage.
6. Collaborate with internal IT teams to resolve API-related issues efficiently.
7. Business Development
8. Identify and pursue opportunities to expand the API partner base.
9. Support revenue growth by optimizing API adoption and partner satisfaction.
10. Partner Training & Enablement
11. Conduct workshops and training sessions to educate partners on best practices for API integration and utilization.
Requirements: Experience & Technical Skills - Minimum 3+ years of experience in the travel industry with a focus on API performance monitoring and optimization. - Expertise in managing onboarding of API- connected customers, technical problem-solving, and analyzing performance metrics. - Strong technical skills including SQL, Advanced Excel; knowledge of API frameworks (REST/SOAP), JSON, XML, and monitoring tools like Grafana is a plus.
Market Knowledge - In-depth understanding of the travel market in Latin America, including travel agencies, tour operators, and technology platforms.
Personal Skills - Proactive, results-oriented, and comfortable in fast-paced environments. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven mindset. - Ability to work independently with high accountability ("Be Your Own CEO" mindset). - Creative, adaptable, and capable of implementing innovative solutions.
Language Proficiency - Native Portuguese and advanced English required. - Advanced Spanish is a plus.
