Overview:
The Identity Access Management Architect Manager role is designed for an emerging professional who is passionate about Identity and Access Management (IAM) and wants to develop their skills in designing, planning, and implementing robust IAM solutions. This role will work closely with senior architects, engineering, and operation teams to ensure our IAM infrastructure aligns with business needs, security policies, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
Design & Planning: Assist the IAM team in the design and documentation of current and future state IAM architectures, including access control models, identity lifecycle management, and federation strategies.
Implementation Support: Support the implementation and integration of various IAM components (e.g., Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Privileged Access Management (PAM), Identity Governance and Administration (IGA)) into the enterprise environment.
Standards & Best Practices: Contribute to the development and maintenance of IAM standards, best practices, and security policies.
Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, architectural diagrams, and procedural guides related to the IAM environment.
Troubleshooting & Support: Provide tier-3 support and guidance to operations teams for complex IAM-related issues and participate in root cause analysis.
Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with application owners, security operations, and infrastructure teams to gather requirements and ensure successful IAM project delivery.
Research: Stay current with the latest trends, technologies, and threats in the IAM and cybersecurity landscape.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or equivalent practical experience.
1-3 years of professional experience in Information Technology, with at least 1 year focused directly on Identity and Access Management concepts and technologies.
Foundational understanding of core IAM concepts, including authentication, authorization, provisioning, and identity lifecycle management.
Familiarity with at least two major IAM platforms (e.g., Active Directory, Entra ID, CyberArk).
Knowledge of industry-standard protocols such as SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and SCIM.
Experience with Active Directory (AD) and/or other LDAP directories.
Basic understanding of cloud security principles, especially as they relate to identity (e.g., AWS IAM, GCP IAM, Entra ID).
Scripting and automation skills (e.g., PowerShell, Python) are a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, including the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
Proactive, self-motivated, and a strong desire to learn and grow within the security domain.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
