Prepare machinery and equipment, regulating and adjusting mechanisms and control devices in production processes, according to technical instructions, quality, and production scheduling. Operate machinery and equipment by activating their manual or electronic control devices on various production lines, in accordance with pre-established technical standards and procedures for quality, safety, environment, and health. Prepare input materials and tools, checking dimensions, appearance, and validity to ensure product warranty. Record and measure process parameters and effective equipment operation at the beginning, during, and end of each production run to obtain product data records and files. Perform equipment setups when replacing parts and accessories, etc. Study and interpret work notes and manufacturing sheets, observing and applying tools, quantities, and types of raw materials and input materials to initiate the production process and contribute to continuous improvement to minimize production deviations. Inspect machinery and equipment, verifying their operation, observing control panels and indicators, and reporting values for temperatures, pressures, recording legends, steam/nitrogen, INOEX (Product Control and Monitoring Equipment), among others, making adjustments and corrections according to technical specifications and Quality Control. Supervise the work performed by machine operators and process operators, monitoring and overseeing their compliance. Control the supply of raw materials to the machines, handle boxes, coils, and other materials, positioning them on specific trestles, using an electric hoist or overhead crane, and occasionally operating a forklift, to ensure the continuity of the production process. Collect samples of raw materials, semi-finished products, and finished products for appropriate testing of the product's physical characteristics, according to Quality Control guidelines and parameters. Monitor the results of Quality Control tests and physical analyses and apply corrections for parameter deviations in machinery, equipment, and raw materials. Contribute to maintenance teams by providing guidance on the needs and problems identified in machinery and equipment. Record data and information on relevant actions and events that occurred during the work shift in bulletins and documents related to production, process, and quality controls, process parameter measurements, and O.E.E. (Effective Equipment Operation), to obtain product histories and files in accordance with ISO standards. Knowledge and understanding of Prysmian's HSE policy and procedures; Comply with legal and company HSE requirements, as well as the SMS/SGS requirements, according to their competency and the awareness and training received; Preserve the environment and report HSE-related accidents and unsafe situations to the direct supervisor and/or HSE.
