About the opportunity:

Seeking an extremely proactive hardworking individual with exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail and a great attitude to work in a boutique New York and Miami based asset management advisory and investment firm with an international investor base.

The financial analyst will focus on supporting the firm's back-office operations. Position offers substantial upside potential for increased responsibilities and remuneration. Only candidates with high professional and ethical standards seeking long term career development should apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of invoice processing—including preparation, issuance, and payment tracking—while maintaining rigorous control over receivables and payables through proactive monitoring of payment schedules.
  • Accurately calculate various fees associated with the firm's financial products and services. Apply a clear understanding of legal agreements to ensure all financial obligations are met accurately and in compliance with contractual terms.
  • Keep meticulous records of investment positions, transactions, and holdings within different portfolios. Maintain accurate and up-to-date investment data for reporting purposes.
  • Provide additional support to advisory, co-investment and asset management businesses.

Required skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
  • Full proficiency in English, both written and oral, is required.
  • Prior knowledge of the international investment management sector.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • High level of attention to detail, solid organizational skills, an aggressive approach to problem solving, a commitment to customer service, as well as the ability to work professionally and reliably under tight deadlines.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to be self-motivated, proactive and an effective team player.
