About the role:
We are hiring many Sales Managers / Business Consultants for Local Enterprise accounts to drive significant business growth and revenue generation within the local market. This role will execute effective go-to-market strategies, cultivate strategic client relationships, and be part of a high-performing sales team Reporting to the Head of Preface Professional Services, you will be responsible for building and managing the sales pipeline.
Business Growth
- Execute on sales strategies and achieve aggressive partners/clients acquisition and revenue growth objectives
- Proactively identify and analyse market needs and trends to generate business opportunities and growth through market intelligence and information gathering
- Drive market penetration and expansion within the local enterprise segment
Sales Leadership & Pipeline Management
- Fully ownership of the sales pipeline, from lead generation to deal closure
- Convert qualified leads into long-term clients through effective outreach and pitching
- Share frontline insights to guide strategic decisions and support sustainable business growth
Client Engagement
- Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers across diverse companies and organisations
- Articulate and Clearly communicate the value of Preface's programs and how they align with client-specific business objectives and needs
- Ensure a smooth sales process and facilitate an effective handover for onboarding and implementation
Team Building & Target Setting
- Build and lead a high-performing team of business development and account executives
- Establish clear and measurable sales KPIs, revenue targets, and individual/team performance metrics
- Deliver sales enablement and training to support team growth and success
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Manage and collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Operations and Business Relations teams on service proposals and delivery
- Represent Preface at external meetings, events, and client-facing engagements as a senior commercial leader
Who You Are
- 5+ years of experience in business development, strategic sales, or commercial roles with revenue and KPI ownership
- Familiarity with the local business landscape and experience engaging with diverse company profiles is a plus, particularly if you can leverage existing relationships to accelerate early traction.
- Strong track record of closing deals and scaling adoption of pre-designed products or programs
- Clear communicator and confident negotiator, able to build trust with clients
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Fluent in English and Cantonese (spoken and written)
