Position Summary: CVS Pharmacy Inc., a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Woonsocket, RI: Staff Software Development Engineer to design and develop enterprise software applications and platforms. Duties include: analyze user needs and develop software solutions to meet business requirements; determine feasibility of solutions design and prepare technical design documentation; upgrade existing software applications and/or systems to improve functionality and features with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability; develop and deploy application components, and support unit testing and bug fixes; participate in AGILE Scrum meetings and/or CI/CD; support applications, systems, and databases used to process appointment schedule, prescriptions, claims, and related healthcare activities; and collaborate with cross-functional teams on applications development, technical requirements, code review, project deliverables, quality assurance, and software development best practices. - Requirements: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Requires five (5) years of experience in each of the following:

• Software development lifecycle (SDLC);

• Software testing, quality assurance, and troubleshooting;

• Domain support for healthcare or retail organization, including providing data analytics support;

• Mobile applications development;

• Contributing to largescale applications development, data science, or data analytics projects;

• REST, SOAP, or Web Services;

• CircleCI, GIT, or GitHub Actions

• Kotlin, Android, Java, or Gradle;

• XML, JSON, or Compose; and

• Agile methodologies or SAFe Software Development Principles.

Pay Range: $ /year to $ /year.

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
