About The Program
WEX is launching its first-ever Software Engineer internship program in Brazil We are looking for bright, motivated students who are eager to learn and contribute to real-world projects. This is a unique opportunity to join a global technology company, work with experienced engineers, and play a part in building innovative solutions that impact our customers worldwide.

You will be part of a collaborative, supportive team where your ideas are valued. Our goal is to provide you with a hands-on, meaningful experience that will help you grow your skills and launch your career in software engineering.

What You Will Do

  • Collaborate: Work closely with a team of experienced software engineers, product managers, and designers to develop and maintain software applications.
  • Contribute: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using languages like [List relevant languages, e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, C#].
  • Learn: Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from ideation and design to development, testing, and deployment.
  • Problem-Solve: Help troubleshoot and debug software issues, identifying and implementing solutions.
  • Innovate: Attend team meetings and contribute to discussions about new features, improvements, and technical challenges.

What We Are Looking For

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • A solid understanding of core computer science principles, including data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
  • Some experience with at least one programming language (e.g., [List relevant languages, e.g., Java, Python, C++]).
  • Familiarity with software development tools and methodologies (e.g., Git, Agile).
  • A passion for technology and a strong desire to learn and grow.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills in both [e.g., English and Portuguese].
