What's The Role
The Senior IMR Engineer plays a critical role within the PTP Brazil team, supporting Shell-Operated Venture (SOV) projects and assets. This position focuses on ensuring safe, compliant, and reliable operations of subsea systems through effective inspection, maintenance, and repair (IMR) strategies.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead planning and execution of all subsea non-rig interventions and support rig-based operations (e.g., MOBO campaigns, completions, workovers, etc).
  • Troubleshoot subsea system failures and support root cause analysis.
  • Develop and execute intervention procedures and preparedness plans.
  • Manage mobilization and logistics for offshore campaigns.
  • Oversee maintenance and readiness of subsea spares and tooling, including intervention-critical equipment.
  • Maintain systems for tracking the location, condition, and status of all subsea assets.
  • Support budget management and procurement processes for aftermarket contracts.
  • Coordinate repair, modification, and upgrade activities at the vendor and Shell sites

What You Bring

  • Must have legal authorization to work in Brazil on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferred: Subsea, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering).
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in subsea activities, including offshore operations, FAT/SIT, troubleshooting, and PSM activities.
  • Proven experience in subsea intervention planning and execution.
  • Strong procedural writing and process safety management skills.
  • Effective communicator and team player, able to work across functions (R&D, Projects, Operations).
  • Flexible and responsive to dynamic business needs.
