Cloud Managed Services – Platform Administration team
is seeking a
Senior SAS Administrator
to support, operate, and enhance critical SAS environments for corporate customers. Our team is passionate about technology and works on challenging, high-impact projects with global clients in finance, healthcare, and retail.

As a Sr Cloud Platform Administrator, You Will

• Administer SAS Viya and SAS 9.4 environments in both cloud and on-premises settings.
• Perform installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades of SAS platforms.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and tune performance (Linux, Kubernetes, CAS, Grid).
• Ensure security and compliance by managing access, auditing, and encryption policies.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and customer teams to evolve architecture and best practices.
• Support SAS 9 to Viya migrations, integrating with Cloud tools (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Be encouraged to participate in open-source projects on behalf of SAS.
• Ensure all applicable security policies and processes are followed to support the organization's secure software development goals.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in SAS platform administration (9.4 and/or Viya).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• Solid experience with Linux/Unix, Kubernetes, containers, and databases (Oracle/SQL Server/Postgres).
• Knowledge of networking, troubleshooting, and information security in corporate environments.
• Technical English proficiency for reading and communication with global teams.
• Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.

Additional Competencies, Knowledge And Skills

• Problem-solving – ability to diagnose and resolve complex incidents.
• Collaboration – ability to work in cross-functional teams across time zones.
• Adaptability – eagerness to learn new technologies and operate in dynamic environments.
• Preferred experience with public cloud (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Preferred experience with automation and scripting (Python, Shell, Ansible).
• SAS or Cloud certifications are a strong plus.
