Job DescriptionThe Project Manager will take responsibility for end-to-end service delivery, ensuring that client objectives are met through the delivery of an effective service. This includes interfacing with the client and other consultants at all project stages, managing overall project cost, schedule, and budgets, as well as managing general contractors and other directly contracted vendors and consultants. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Analyze, track, and effectively manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slip.
Run and lead client and other required meetings, presenting updates to the client at all project stages. Identify factors that influence construction costs and monitor and report on this data. Support engineering decisions relating to project cost and budget while design-build changes take place during construction.
Review requests for payment. Track and ensure equipment meets the project schedule. Record occurrences that might result in a claim, acting on the client's behalf.
Advocate on behalf of the client during disputes, disagreements, modifications, or change orders. Coordinate and oversee scheduling consultant reviews on the project. Review and approve final invoices, payment applications, and retention payments.
Oversee and manage the transfer of building operations to the client, including all close-out documentation and warranties. Collaborative approach, client-facing, able to develop strong relationships, and confidently present to clients and stakeholders. Be assertive and detail-oriented, identifying potential issues early and raising them in the appropriate forum for resolution.
Demonstrable record of accomplishment in the delivery of relevant projects. Advanced skills with spreadsheets, report writing, and presentations. Management experience, with the ability to manage and lead a team in delivering a commission and general line management.
Manage revenue, team resources, and priorities to ensure that client expectations are met. QualificationsAbove 7 years' experience working in a similar position. Sector experience, more specifically in Mission Critical and Life Science Construction.
Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or other construction-related fields. Fluent in English and Portuguese; Spanish is a plus. Additional InformationOur inspired people share our vision and mission.
