Our technology unlocks untapped potential by transforming fragmented impact data into actionable intelligence, driving transformational impact across geographies and systems.The RoleWe are looking for a proactive, hands-on, and purpose-driven AI Engineer to strengthen our product and consulting solutions. You'll be at the forefront of applying Large Language Models (LLMs), RAG, and AI agents to solve real-world challenges in impact investing. In this role, you'll begin with a strategic project to develop Mútua's conversational interface, a cornerstone of our product experience. This will serve as your entry point into a broader journey of scaling our AI methodologies across the platform. You'll work closely with our CTO and benefit from the premium technical support and Skills Boost access provided by Google through our grant.What You'll DoDesign, test, and deploy prompt engineering and prompt chaining workflows in collaboration with the business and product teams.Implement and refine RAG pipelines to combine structured and unstructured data for better discovery and recommendations.Define and execute model evaluation strategies to benchmark LLMs and ensure reliability.Develop human-in-the-loop systems that balance automation with expert oversight.Explore and deploy AI agents to support discovery, classification, and recommendation workflows.Collaborate with both the core product team and the Systems Intelligence Services team on high-value consulting projects that integrate back into our platform.We're Looking For2+ years of experience working directly with LLMs (development, deployment, or applied research).Strong knowledge of prompt engineering and hands-on experience with conversational AI.Experience with RAG, model evaluation, and human-in-the-loop pipelines.Use workflow automation/orchestration tools (e.g. n8n, LangChain, or similar) to structure and scale prompt chaining and LLM pipelines.Bonus: experience with Google Vertex AI or AI Studio.Strong problem-solving mindset, able to move from concept to working prototype in short cycles.Entrepreneurial spirit, comfortable in a flexible, fully remote, task-based environment.Fluent in EnglishPassion for building technologies that drive systemic social and environmental impact.Why Mútua?Competitive early-stage compensation with clear pathway to equity (stock options).Fully remote, flexible, and outcome-oriented work environment.Opportunity to consolidate your career as an AI Engineer working on the frontier of LLM applications.Direct access to Google experts and resources, thanks to our $250k grant.A collaborative, mission-driven culture that values growth, learning, and innovation.Join us at MútuaBe part of a team pioneering essential infrastructure for the global impact ecosystem, while building your career at the cutting edge of applied AI.
