Position TitleMDI Application Analyst IDepartmentIT Care Delivery ApplicationsJob DescriptionThe Application Analyst I is an entry-level position that supports Operations and ETS in determining workflows and system capabilities to ensure effective outcomes.The position will help support the host of ETS systems and operations ranging from ancillary applications to supporting business, clinical and revenue cycle operations in conjunction with Epic and the Enterprise Resource Planning System for various functional areas.Essential ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities listed in this section are core to the position.Inability to perform these responsibilities with or without an accommodation may result in disqualification from the position.Developing technical solutions to business problemsAnalyzing and implementing solutions based on operation workflow needsAssisting with the installation, maintenance, and education of system applicationsDocumenting workflow reflecting current and future stateMonitoring, tracking, and documenting system utilization and effectivenessTaking part in pre- and post-implementation metrics gathering to assure the system is delivering expected outcomesTroubleshooting application performance and technical issuesPerforming software testing and documenting compliance with system and industry standardsParticipate in documenting changes to be presented by senior application analysts to the appropriate change boardGeneral ResponsibilitiesPerforms other duties as assigned.Minimum QualificationsEducation RequirementsBachelor's Degree required.Experience Requirements0-3 years of experience in IT required.Previous IT healthcare experience preferred.License/Certification/Registration RequirementsNo certification required.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities RequiredDemonstrated knowledge of computers, patient care information systems and business systemsThe ability to extract and analyze dataKnowledge of processional theory, practices, techniques and proceduresStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work effectively as a member of a team and ensure quality patient careGood listening skillsWorking knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning softwareComprehension of the integration of ancillary applications and their associated functionalityOU Health is an equal opportunity employer.We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including PTO, 401(k), medical and dental plans, and many more.We know that a total benefits and compensation package, designed to meet your specific needs both inside and outside of the work environment, create peace of mind for you and your family.#J-*****-Ljbffr
