Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

Job SummaryWe seek a seasoned high-achieving engineer to join our team in developing and supporting new tools and processes for a private cloud application.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and deploy high-performance cloud and container technologies using Python as the primary programming language;Develop and deliver high-quality solutions and code;Implement unit tests to improve the software development lifecycle (SDLC);Analyze and resolve issues reported during testing and customer integration;Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive agile software development;Contribute to the development of a highly available orchestration platform used to deploy a private cloud platform for 5G and distributed Edge deployments worldwide.Essential Skills:Strong backend development skills, preferably in Python, with knowledge of Linux Essentials;Moderate understanding of hardware, processes, programs, and Linux Operating System components;Proficiency in working on the command line and file systems;Experience with creating and restoring compressed backups and archives;System security expertise: users/groups and file permissions for public and private directories;Familiarity with creating and running simple scripts;Interest in working on development and troubleshooting of a highly distributed orchestration platform supporting multiple vendors;Strong computer networking knowledge and transport layers;Understanding of cloud computing concepts;Experience collaborating effectively across remote teams and time zones, and with Senior Technical Leaders;Experience with GIT, Jira, Gitlab, and code review tools;Experience with container technologies (e.g., Docker, Linux Containers, etc.);Experience with Kubernetes Cluster Administration (designing infrastructure involving one or more Kubernetes clusters, configuring, controlling, and monitoring Kubernetes clusters);Experience with Docker;Experience with Helm.Highly Desirable Skills:Experience with Kubernetes App Development (designing and developing applications that run in Kubernetes clusters);Experience with PostgreSQL as a developer;Experience with RabbitMQ as a developer.About Our CompanyOur company is a leading digital engineering and modernization partner of enterprises and digital native companies.With a global presence and a diverse range of technology practices, we strive to deliver innovative solutions and services to our clients.At our company, we value diversity and inclusion, and we hire professionals based solely on their skills and qualifications, without discrimination based on age, disability, religion, gender, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, or nationality.
