Senior Software Engineer Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to lead our cloud innovation initiatives as our Azure & Power Platform Lead.This role requires a passionate professional about Microsoft ecosystem, with expertise in mentoring junior developers and architecting scalable solutions.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team, developing cutting-edge cloud solutions, and mentoring others.Key Responsibilities:Design and Develop Scalable Cloud-Native Applications: Design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure platform.Architect and Implement Microservices: Architect and implement microservices using Azure services like App Service, Functions, Container Instances, and AKS.Develop Robust APIs: Develop robust APIs and integrate with various Azure services and third-party systems.Implement Data Solutions: Implement data solutions with Azure SQL Database, Cosmos DB, and storage services.Technical Requirements:A minimum of 5 years of software development experience, with 3+ years specifically in Azure cloud development.Proficiency in programming languages like C#/.
NET, Python, Java, or Node.js.Strong experience with Azure services (App Service, Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid).
Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker) and Azure container services.Experience with RESTful API design and development.Understanding of cloud architecture patterns and distributed systems.Leadership & Collaboration:Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, QA, and business stakeholders.Participate in technical architecture decisions and solution design.Nice to Have:Azure certifications (Azure Developer Associate, Solutions Architect Expert).
Experience with agile development methodologies.Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance requirements.Background in database design and performance optimization.Please note that the company's budget is not mentioned in this job description.
