excited to engage in remote collaboration for a worldwide presence.About the RoleAt Oowlish, we help growing brands turn Shopify into a true e-commerce growth engine—not just a storefront.As we evolve from execution-focused delivery to long-term strategic partnership, we're looking for an E-Commerce (Shopify) Practice Lead to own and scale our Shopify practice.The core of this position is strategy, consulting, and ownership.You will act as the main point of contact for Shopify clients, deeply understanding their business, diagnosing opportunities, and guiding them toward measurable improvements in Conversion Rate, AOV, UX/UI, SEO, Site-Speed, Promotions, and overall e-commerce performance.You'll work closely with developers and designers by setting priorities, defining scope, and ensuring high-quality delivery—without being responsible for writing code or implementing features yourself.Your role is to translate business objectives into clear, actionable roadmaps and guide execution through the team, ensuring that work delivered has a measurable business impact.In addition, this role has a strong commercial and growth component.You will identify upsell and expansion opportunities within existing accounts, contribute to new proposals and pre-sales conversations, and help position Shopify as a long-term growth partner for clients.This position is ideal for someone who thinks like a business owner, communicates confidently with stakeholders, and knows how to balance strategy, delivery, and revenue growth within Shopify ecosystems.ResponsibilitiesClient Ownership & StrategyAct as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of Shopify clientsDevelop a deep understanding of each client's business, customers, and goalsProactively identify opportunities to improve conversion, revenue, and user experienceTranslate business objectives into a clear, prioritized Shopify roadmapCRO & Performance OptimizationAnalyze store performance using Shopify Analytics, GA4, and other toolsIdentify conversion bottlenecks and optimization opportunities across the funnelPropose and prioritize CRO initiatives and experimentsTrack results and clearly communicate impact to clientsUX/UI CollaborationWork closely with UX/UI designers to ensure designs are conversion-focused and Shopify-friendlyProvide feedback grounded in usability, performance, and business impactMaintain a high bar for visual quality and user experienceSEO & Shopify Best PracticesEnsure Shopify stores follow SEO and performance best practicesCollaborate with designers and developers to embed SEO into UX and technical decisionsMake smart use of Shopify features, themes, and apps to maximize valueDelivery & Team CoordinationPlan and manage the workload of Shopify developersBreak initiatives into clear, actionable tasks and prioritiesEnsure high-quality, on-time delivery across all client workAct as a quality gate before work reaches clientsAccount Growth & Business DevelopmentIdentify upsell and expansion opportunities within existing accountsHelp scope new initiatives and support sales conversations when neededStrengthen long-term client relationships by delivering consistent valueQualifications5+ years of experience in e-commerce, ideally with a strong Shopify focusProven experience improving conversion rates and online store performanceDeep understanding of Shopify (admin, themes, apps ecosystem)Strong knowledge of CRO, UX/UI principles, and SEO fundamentalsExperience working closely with developers and designersExcellent communication skills and comfort working directly with clientsFluent or advanced English proficiency (written and spoken) is required, as this role involves direct communication with international clientsNice to HaveExperience in an agency or consulting environmentShopify Plus experienceFamiliarity with tools like Hotjar, Klaviyo, and A/B testing platformsExperience supporting sales or account
