Job Title: Java Developer – Camunda 8Location: São Paulo, BrazilWork Model: Hybrid (2 days onsite per week + remaining days remote)Project Duration: Long Term ContractRole SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Java Developer with hands-on experience in Camunda 8 and Spring Boot to design, develop, and maintain BPMN-based workflow solutions and microservices architectures. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java development, agile methodologies, automated testing, and CI/CD practices. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, and global partners to ensure high-quality software delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop new components and enhance existing applications based on product roadmap and team priorities.Design and implement BPMN processes using Camunda 8.Ensure adherence to coding standards, quality benchmarks, and agile best practices.Create and maintain automated test cases to ensure software reliability.Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.Collaborate with business stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver optimal solutions.Take ownership of deliverables, ensuring alignment with scope, quality, and timelines.Contribute to system architecture and technical design documentation.Work closely with partner technology teams for seamless integration.Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies.Prepare and maintain technical documentation and presentations.Provide ongoing support to the product team and Camunda community of practice. Technical Requirements Hands-on experience in designing and implementing BPMN workflows using Camunda 8 . Strong expertise in Java 11+ with solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles. Extensive experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot . Experience working with:Spring Cloud ConfigSpring Data JPASpring MVCStrong knowledge of microservices and service-oriented architecture (SOA).Experience with automated testing tools such as JUnit, Mockito, and Cucumber . Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools.Familiarity with RESTful API design and integration.Experience working in Agile/SCRUM environments.English proficiency level: B2 or higher.
