Full-Stack Developer – Java + Apache Camel - Contractor - Remote
Launchpad Technologies Inc. is seeking a seasoned Java Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Java development, database management, and skills in web services and cloud solutions.

Start date: October 2025
Contract type: Contractor, Indefinite
Work hours: 7:30 am to 4:30 pm PST
What You'll Be Doing
Develop robust and scalable software applications using Java, with a preference for version 11 or above.
Design and manage relational (PostgreSQL) and/or document databases, including data modeling and SQL querying.
Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle: requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
Ensure applications are free of common coding vulnerabilities and follow standard security practices.
Collaborate with cross-geographical teams including developers, testers, and product managers.
Contribute to improving the team's quality, efficiency, and capabilities.
Follow and contribute to the team's processes, best practices, methodologies, and guidelines.
What You Need to Succeed
Must-haves
5+ years of hands-on experience with building secure, scalable, performant Java/Spring applications (Version 11+).
Experience working with Spring Boot is required.
Strong knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and/or document databases, including data modeling and SQL querying.
Advanced proficiency in English.
Nice-to-haves
Knowledge/experience in Apache Camel/Integration (routing, error handling, split-aggregate, dynamic routing).
Knowledge of web services protocols (SOAP, JSON, REST API).
Understanding and experience with cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Knowledge of Angular, React, Struts, or similar front-end technologies.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Relevant certifications.
