Who We AreCint is a global software leader in technology-enabled digital insights and research technology.The Cint platform automates the insights-gathering process so that companies can gain access to insights faster with unparalleled scale.Cint has one of the world's largest consumer networks for digital survey-based research, made up of over 239 million engaged respondents across more than 130 countries.Over 4,600 insights-driven companies use Cint to accelerate how they gather consumer insights and supercharge business growth.Job DescriptionOverviewWe are looking for an exceptional and highly experienced Staff Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our quality engineering team.This is a crucial individual contributor role responsible for designing, building, and maintaining advanced test automation frameworks, driving innovative testing practices, and significantly raising the quality bar across the entire development lifecycle.The ideal candidate is a deep technical expert and a proactive mentor.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Design & Framework OwnershipArchitect and Develop:Design, develop, and implement highly scalable, reliable, and maintainable test automation frameworks from scratch across multiple platforms (e.g., web, API, backend services).Technical Authority:Serve as the technical authority on testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.Evaluate and integrate new automated tools and technologies into the existing test infrastructure.Code Quality:Drive high standards for test code quality, structure, and maintainability, including code reviews for automation scripts and framework contributions from SDET team.Non-Functional Testing:Design and execute advanced non-functional tests, including performance and load tests, and integrate them into the CI/CD pipeline.Quality Strategy & Process ImprovementQuality Advocate:Partner with development and product teams to integrate testing practices early in the development lifecycle (Shift-Left).Advocate for and implement robust quality gates and coverage metrics.CI/CD Integration:Own and optimize the integration of automated tests into the Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline to ensure rapid feedback and zero defect leakage to production.Troubleshooting:Expertly debug and analyze complex system failures, identifying root causes in both application code and test infrastructure.Mentorship & LeadershipMentorship:Coach and mentor junior and mid-level SDETs and software engineers on technical design, testing strategy, and effective automation techniques.Documentation:Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for test strategies, automation frameworks, and best practices to enable self-service quality for all engineers.Technical Strategy:Contribute significantly to the long-term quality roadmap and technology choices alongside Engineering Managers and Principal Engineers.QualificationsRequired QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.Minimum of 7+ years of professional experience in a hands-on SDET, Automation Engineer, or Quality Engineer role.Expert proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C#, Go) used for building production-level code and automation frameworks.Proven experience designing and scaling test automation frameworks (e.g., using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or equivalents) for complex, large-scale applications.Deep practical knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).Strong understanding of software architecture, data structures, and algorithms.Excellent ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and influence cross-functional technical teams.Preferred QualificationsExperience in a domain-specific area (e.g., cloud infrastructure, machine learning, financial systems).Experience with advanced mocking/stubbing tools and service virtualization.Certifications in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP).Additional InformationOur ValuesCollaboration is our superpowerWe uncover rich perspectives across the worldSuccess happens togetherWe deliver across borders.Innovation is in our bloodWe're pioneers in our industryOur curiosity is insatiableWe bring the best ideas to life.We do what we sayWe're accountable for our work and actionsExcellence comes as standardWe're open, honest and kind, always.We are caringWe learn from each other's experiencesStop and listen;
