OverviewJoin to apply for the Die Setter role at US Farathane2 weeks ago Be among the first 25 applicantsDie Setters are responsible for all areas of the die set – clamping, watering, cleaning area, excessive grease from tie bars, and set up cycle per cycle sheet.
Die Setter are directly responsible for the machine set-ups including primary and secondary equipment both scheduled and unscheduled.ResponsibilitiesEnsure all paperwork is completed, submitted and filed in a timely mannerAdhere to all company policies and procedures (i.e., quality policy manual, associate handbook, etc.)Comply with all internal and OSHA required safety proceduresMaintain high standards of housekeeping in respective areasCommunicate to Supervisor when low on Die Setter suppliesWhen Die Setters approach the mold change, survey the area for any oil leaks, clean the area if needed and report issues to the Process EngineerMaintain inventory of Die Setter supplies in good condition and complete a request for more suppliesWrite up a requisition for any supplies or tools needed for mold set up through Process Engineers/ Toolmakers/ Tooling ManagerWork required overtime as neededOther duties may be assigned as necessaryQualificationsEducation and/or Experience - High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months to 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceCertificates, Licenses, Registrations - Hi Lo License, Rigging, and crane training requiredFollow instructions properlyNeat performance of dutiesWilling and able to work seven (7) days a week whenever requiredUnderstand material & hopper loader systemMust be capable of completing mold change part to part within 1 (one) hour or less while following all safety rulesDocument any machine or secondary issues utilizing maintenance work order systemPhysical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
