Job DescriptionWe are actively recruiting a proactive Business Development Associate based in Brazil to expand and curate our network of solar developers and facilitate the REC certification process.This role combines relationship-building, project coordination, and market intelligence to help scale renewable energy adoption in Brazil and across Latin America.The Business Development Associate will work closely with the global Powertrust project supply team, undertaking the following responsibilities:Solar Developer Outreach & Relationship Management: Generate leads through outbound prospecting, networking, and industry events; conduct strategic conversations with decision-makers at solar developers; track KPIs and report regularly to leadership.Project Facilitation & Data Coordination: Prepare proposals, support contract negotiations, and ensure smooth handoff to operations teams; manage projects on the Powertrust digital platform and provide feedback to the technology team.Market Research & Strategic Input: Analyze market trends and developer data to identify growth opportunities and inform strategic decisions; provide feedback to improve developer experience and REC offerings.Key Skills and Qualifications3-5 years of B2B sales or business development experience, preferably in renewable energy or environmental commodities.Strong communication and interpersonal skills; fluency in Portuguese and professional proficiency in English required.Familiarity with solar project development, permitting processes, energy markets, or REC processes highly desirable.About Renewable Energy AdoptionOur goal is to contribute significantly to scaling renewable energy adoption in Brazil and across Latin America.To achieve this, we need a skilled Business Development Associate who can foster strong relationships with solar developers and drive market intelligence initiatives.
