With hundreds of thousands of clinical diagnostic tests performed daily, our Clinical LIMS Europe Program will be used as the central Laboratory Information Management System throughout Europe, and this role is crucial in defining and delivering the product roadmap.Job DescriptionIn this role, you will work with a dedicated, enthusiastic team developing enhancements to a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and supporting the LIMS' multiple customers.Where will you be based and what business will you support?
BrazilWhat you will doAs a Delphi Developer, you will actively interact with Product Owners and other stakeholders to:Estimate the complexity and the workloadChoose the most appropriate technical solution to meet user requirementsDesign, develop and deploy changes to the LIMS according to customers' and business users' requirementsSupport the LIMS in collaboration with other team membersWork with other team members (Engineers/QA) to ensure high quality of delivered solutionsEnsure good practices and high quality standards are implemented and followedAre you our kind of extraordinary?
4+ years of experience developing solutions using Embarcadero Delphi 2006 or later (Delphi 12 preferred)Experience with using Delphi to develop Windows Services and/or UI Forms would be a bonus4+ years of experience with Oracle PL/SQLStrong working knowledge of server-side development with Delphi and/or Oracle PL/SQLStrong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skillsGood understanding of relational databases (Oracle 9i, 11c or later)Strong knowledge of Agile software development practices, particularly Scrum and/or KanbanClear experience in collaboration with Business Analysts and Software Architect(s)Some experience in test driven development and test automationComfortable in unit testing and mocking with DelphiAbility to translate functional requirements into technical solutionsQualificationsEducation:Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or similarWhat else should I know?
