The Accounting Analyst will be responsible for the processing, recording, updating, and reconciling the accounting information in compliance with established policies.
This person will perform the day-to-day processing of financial transactions to ensure that finances are maintained in an effective, up-to-date and accurate manner.
**Essential Job Functions**:
- Execute closing processes (monthly / quarterly), preparing and documenting entries and producing related Balance Sheet and P&L accounts reconciliations.
- Perform Journal Entries (Expense Report, Sponsorship, Payroll, Loan, Intercompany, Importation, Accruals, Taxes, Inventory, Fixed Asset, Invoices, etc);
- Support the team in all Statutory Obligation (SPED, IBGE, BACEN and others);
- Prepare and maintain processes documentation for Brasil requirements compliance purposes.
- Attendance of external and internal auditors preparing and providing required documentations and explanations.
- Assist the team on performing and validating the internal/external auditors the Financial Statements package.
- Prepare GL Accounts Reconciliation and Internal Reports.
- Support the team in all internal reports and deliverables.
**Position Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Economics, Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field.
- Good knowledge of Brazilian accounting process and regulations.
- Excellent knowledge in MS Excel.
- Intermediate English written and spoken is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and keen attention to details.
- Knowledge in SAP is desirable.
- Hands on and teamwork oriented;
