Lovell Minnick is a US Private Equity firm that invests in the global financial services industry, including related technology and business services companies, with a focus on helping to build long term value for clients, employees and shareholders.The acquisition will support the continuation of Charles Taylor's successful growth strategy, with a focus on expanding client relationships, broadening specialist capabilities and the range of services and technology solutions, deepening geographic coverage, and reinvesting in quality of service and technology.For more information, please visit Responsibilities:Design and develop interactive dashboards, visualizations, and reports using MicroStrategy.Translate business requirements into scalable, performance-optimized BI solutions.Develop schema objects (attributes, facts, hierarchies) and application objects (grids, documents, dashboards, prompts).
Optimize and tune report performance and resolve issues in existing BI solutions.Collaborate with data engineers and DBAs to ensure proper data availability and integration.Ensure data accuracy and integrity through testing and validation.Implement security filters, user roles, and access control within MicroStrategy.Maintain technical documentation related to BI solutions and metadata.Support end users with report usage, ad-hoc queries, and troubleshooting.Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.3+ years of hands-on experience with MicroStrategy development.Strong understanding of data warehousing and dimensional data modeling.Proficient in creating schema and application objects in MicroStrategy.Experience with report optimization and performance tuning.Familiarity with SQL for data validation and troubleshooting.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent communication skills in English & Spanish.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with MicroStrategy 2021 or newer versions.Exposure to MicroStrategy SDK or APIs for customization.Experience integrating MicroStrategy with other BI tools or platforms.Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.Experience with Python or scripting for automation is a plus.Why join Charles Taylor InsureTech?
