We are seeking a high-performing engineer to support and develop new tools and processes for our private cloud application.Your role will involve communicating technical concepts clearly, facilitating discussions, collaborating with stakeholders, providing project updates, and mentoring team members.Responsibilities and DutiesDevelop high-performance cloud and container technologies using Python as the main programming language;Deliver high-quality solutions and code;Develop unit tests, improving the software development life cycle;Investigate and resolve issues reported during testing and customer integration;Participate actively in all aspects of an agile software development process;Work as part of a team focused on containerization, virtualization, and fault-tolerant/carrier-grade development;Contribute to a highly available orchestration platform used to deploy our private cloud platform aimed at 5G and distributed Edge deployments worldwide.Essential SkillsSolid backend developer knowledge, preferably but not restricted to Python, with expertise in Linux Essentials:Medium knowledge of hardware, processes, programs, and components of the Linux Operating System;Experience working on the command line and with files;Creating and restoring compressed backups and archives;System security: users/groups and file permissions for public and private directories;Creating and running simple scripts;Strong computer networking knowledge and transport (TCP/UDP/etc.) layers;Knowledge of cloud computing concepts;Collaborating effectively across remote teams and time zones, and collaborating with Senior Technical Leaders;Experience with GIT, Jira, Gitlab, and code review tools;Experience with container technologies (e.g., Docker, Linux Containers, etc.);Experience with Kubernetes Cluster Administration (designing infrastructure involving one or more Kubernetes clusters, configuring, controlling, and monitoring Kubernetes clusters);Experience with Docker;Experience with Helm.Highly Desirable SkillsExperience with Kubernetes App Development (designing and developing applications that run in Kubernetes clusters);Experience with PostgreSQL as a developer;Experience with RabbitMQ as a developer.About Our CompanyWe are the preferred digital engineering and modernization partner of leading enterprises and digital native companies.With over 9,000 experts in 47+ offices and innovation labs worldwide, our technology practices include Product Engineering & Development, Cloud Services, Quality Engineering, DevSecOps, Data & Analytics, Digital Experience, Cybersecurity, and AI & LLM Engineering.We hire professionals based solely on their skills and qualifications, and do not discriminate based on age, disability, religion, gender, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, or nationality.
