OverviewBluelight is a leading software consultancy dedicated to designing and developing innovative technology that enhances users\' lives.With a steadfast commitment to delivering exceptional service to our clients, Bluelight excels in its focus on quality and customer satisfaction.Our mission is not only to create cutting-edge applications but also to foster a collaborative and enriching work environment where each team member can grow and thrive.With a presence across the United States and Central/South America, Bluelight is in an exciting phase of expansion, continually seeking exceptional talent to join its dynamic and diverse community.This role offers the opportunity to contribute to challenging and meaningful projects, develop high-quality applications, and collaborate with a team that values continuous learning, personal growth, and hard work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with other developers, product owners and managers, and business stakeholders to craft new product features and improvements for our platformOperate with a large degree of independence, supported by senior technology leadersBring projects from initial concept through all development cycles: definition, development, debugging, initial release, and iterationBuild enterprise-level solutions ensuring scalability, maintainability, and supportabilityContribute in an open, collaborative environment with peersQualificationsBachelor of Science degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent work experience5+ years of experience as a Full-Stack Software Developer/Engineer or similar role using open source technologiesStrong experience with Python (Flask or Django), and exposure to object-oriented languagesExperience with full-stack development including back-end services, data storage and access models, and modern web frameworksExperience creating and maintaining automated CI tools (e.g., Jenkins)Proven ability to refactor and improve object-oriented code within Agile developmentStrong fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, testable code, and algorithmsExperience in a SaaS product and ability to work effectively in a corporate setting is desiredPrior experience in B2B financial services or alternative asset management is a plusBenefitsCompetitive salary and bonuses, including performance-based increasesGenerous paid time offFlexible working hoursRemote workContinuing education, training, conferencesCompany-sponsored coursework, exams, and certificationsEmployment detailsSeniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Engineering and Information TechnologyIndustry: Software Development#J-*****-Ljbffr
