Job OverviewA highly skilled Configuration Management Database (CMDB) Architect is needed to lead a strategic project focused on the redesign and implementation of a CMDB within the Jira Service Management ecosystem.The ideal candidate will have expertise in CMDB architecture design, governance, and automation.About the RoleThis role requires a hands-on technical consultant who can architect the future state of the configuration management practice, enhancing operational stability and reinforcing the organization's security posture.The consultant will deliver a sustainable, automated, and high-integrity CMDB that provides real-time accurate data visibility.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the CMDB audit and maturity assessment phaseDesign and implement the future-state architecture and governance frameworkImplement and integrate the CMDB with existing systemsEnable and handover the solution to stakeholdersRequirementsThe ideal candidate has at least 8+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure or related fields, with at least 4 years focused on CMDB architecture design and governance.They should have advanced expertise in Jira Service Management, including schema architecture imports and complex IQL configuration.A solid understanding of ITIL principles, particularly Service Asset and Configuration Management, is also required.BenefitsThis role offers the opportunity to work on a high-impact project that enhances the organization's operational stability and security posture.The successful candidate will have the chance to develop their skills in CMDB architecture design, governance, and automation.
