Job DescriptionSenior Manager, Full Stack AI Engineering & ArchitectureWe are seeking a visionary and technically accomplished leader to join our regional Technology Services leadership team as a Full Stack AI Engineering & Architecture Sr Manager.
This strategic role will lead the architecture, design, and delivery of scalable, secure, and compliant AI and intelligent automation solutions across Latin America, enabling transformative capabilities for our pharmaceutical, MedTech, and enterprise functions.As a key partner to regional and global technology leaders, you will drive innovation through emerging technologies such as generative AI and Agentic.AI, while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards and regulatory requirements.
This role demands a unique blend of hands-on full-stack engineering and solution architecture expertise, AI innovations, and strategic foresight to accelerate digital transformation in a complex environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & StrategyDefine and execute the strategic roadmap for AI-driven solutions and intelligent automation engineering across LATAM.Collaborate with business technology leaders to shape future demand and prioritize investments aligned with regional and global objectives.Champion a culture of innovation, technical excellence, and continuous improvement across multidisciplinary engineering teams.Represent the organization in internal and external forums to showcase thought leadership and stay ahead of emerging trends.Architecture & Engineering DeliveryLead the design and implementation of enterprise-grade AI/IA solutions that are scalable, secure, and compliant.Design reusable frameworks, reference architectures, and components to accelerate solution delivery.Oversee the integration of emerging technologies across data platforms, full-stack development, and automation domains.Ensure solutions meet functional and non-functional requirements, including performance, reliability, and audit readiness.Technical Mentorship & Capability BuildingAct as a technical authority and mentor for engineering teams across the region.Lead a team of principal engineers and subject matter experts across multiple technology domains.Provide architectural oversight throughout the solution lifecycle—from ideation to deployment.Foster continuous learning and technical depth through coaching, training, and knowledge sharing.Innovation & Emerging Technology EnablementLead the design of initiatives involving generative AI, Agentic.AI, ML/data platforms, and third-party integrations, in support of product lead engineers.Drive teams to evaluate and pilot emerging technologies to deliver measurable business value.Ensure operational stability, compliance, and audit readiness of AI/IA solutions.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred.15+ years of experience in IT, including 10+ years in architecture and engineering leadership roles.Experience designing modern application architectures with embedded AI components.Full-stack experience in front-end technologies (e.g., React), back-end development (e.g., Node.js, Python), databases, and cloud infrastructure.Modern Engineering Practices: DevOps, CI/CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), microservices.Experience with LLMs and frameworks like LangChain, LangFlow, CrewAI, LangGraph, AutoGen, etc.Experience with MLOps pipelines to operationalize machine learning models at scale, including automated model training, deployment, monitoring, and governance across cloud-native environments is highly desirable.Professional certification such as TOGAF, AWS Solutions Architect, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert is desirable.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across technical and non-technical audiences.Demonstrated ability to guide product roadmaps, integrate emerging technologies, and align IT strategy with business goals.Commitment to diversity, inclusion, and fostering a collaborative, high-performance work environment.Employment detailsEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Engineering and Information TechnologyIndustries: Pharmaceutical Manufacturing
