We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to design and implement data acquisition and ETL processes in Microsoft Azure.This role involves integrating multiple technical datasets into a central Azure SQL Database, ensuring cleansed, reliable, and query-ready data is available for downstream dashboards.The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Microsoft Azure Data Factory, SQL Database, and Blob/Data Lake.Responsibilities include building and maintaining ETL pipelines, developing and optimizing SQL stored procedures, scheduled jobs, and views in Azure SQL Database.Applicant should have proven ETL development experience, batch and scheduled pipelines, and solid understanding of data governance, lineage, and quality frameworks.Power BI developers rely on this position to deliver clean structured datasets.A successful applicant will also provide knowledge transfer to internal teams for sustainability post-engagement.Required SkillsStrong experience with Microsoft Azure Data Factory, SQL Database, and Blob/Data Lake.Advanced SQL skills, including stored procedures, scheduled jobs, indexing, and views.Proven ETL development experience, batch and scheduled pipelines.Solid understanding of data governance, lineage, and quality frameworks.Familiarity with Power BI data models, not visualization.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.BenefitsThis role offers an exciting opportunity to work remotely in Brazil, supporting EST/CST hours, with a 4-5 month contract.
