joining our team and unlock your potential.JOB SUMMARY The Senior Manager, Market Access and Government Affairs, LATAM at Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies (TBCT) is a pivotal role overseeing government affairs and market access activities in LATAM.Ideally based in Brasilia, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to effectively engage with government bodies, policymakers, and payers starting with Brazil before extending your scope to the rest of South America.Your dual role will involve the following activities: Market Access and Reimbursement: Expand access to TBCT's portfolio and remove barriers to care in the region.Lead negotiations with local authorities to secure optimal access and pricing.Provide access and policy insights during strategic planning.Adapt global value dossiers and Health Economics models, leveraging local data for effective submissions.Ensure timely and effective submission of reimbursement requests.Government Affairs: Develop and execute a comprehensive government affairs strategy for Brazil and the rest of Latin America, aligned with the company's goals and objectives.Monitor and analyze policy developments, identifying potential risks and opportunities for the business.Build and maintain relationships with government officials and industry associations across Brazil and the rest of Latin America.Collaborate with industry associations, think tanks, and advocacy groups to promote policies benefiting patient access.Represent TBCT at public forums, conferences, and stakeholder meetings.Educate policymakers about the role of blood components as essential medicines.MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS The ideal candidate will have a strong background in government affairs, market access, and public policy within the pharmaceutical, medical technology, or biotech industry.Key qualifications include: Over 10 years of Government Affairs and Market Access experience in the healthcare industry.Substantial knowledge of governmental and reimbursement processes in Brazil and the rest of Latin America.Experience with health economic models and clinical-economic dossier development.Knowledge of blood, plasma, or cell therapy is a significant advantage.Fluency in Portuguese and Spanish Demonstrated success in advancing patient access in complex environments.Education : Advanced degree in Public Health, Health Economics, Public Policy, or a related field.Skills and C ompetencies : Strong understanding of healthcare systems and regulatory environments across regions.Ability to work within a matrixed organization and engage effectively with cross-functional teams.Excellent communication, negotiation, and advocacy abilities.High level of verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS 30% travel Typical Office Environment requirements include reading, speaking, hearing, close vision, bending,
