This is a temporary grant-funded position lasting through October 2026.Responsibilities:Cover topics related to the Amazon as part of the Climate and Environment team, including but not limited to legal and illegal mining, forest clearing, logging, fishing, and cattle raising, wildfires, changes in carbon dioxide emissions from deforestation, Indigenous peoples and other residents of the Amazon, government policies and enforcement, nongovernmental organizations, and endemic species and habitats.Work any shift, including at night and on weekends, as coverage demands, as AP is a 24/7 operation.
