Job OverviewAs a Regional Quality Lead, you will oversee the quality function and performance for your assigned region.
Your primary goal is to improve overall quality, responsiveness, and reputation.You will address significant quality-related issues and key customer concerns to enhance production and service quality.
This role involves assessing the health of the quality environment in regional plants, advising/executing actions to remedy gaps, weaknesses, and risks.Key Responsibilities:Address current, significant quality issues in product supplied to key customers.Lead problem-solving teams.Assess solution effectiveness and report resolutions to customers.Monitor Quality KPIs with plants.Support scrap management system development and improvements.Audit Plants in the region as needed to assess quality operating systems and gaps.Maintain knowledge of customer, international organizations, and industry requirements.Provide training to specific areas and assist with quality resource training in plants and technology centers.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field.Certification in Quality and Program Management preferred.Minimum 4-6 years of experience in quality within a manufacturing environment.Proven experience in an Automotive OE setting required.
