You will be working for a US-based technology company with the leading Software, Web and mobile app development for business in North America helping independent retailers adopt and embrace this new key component of their digital marketing solution. We offer some of the best benefits and compensation available in the market for talented and energetic people:The ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement robust, scalable backend services in Node.js, Python, and other technologies to process and deliver real-time and batch data for analytics, personalization, and search Integrate new data sources and improve existing ones using many different methodsArchitect and manage cloud-native data infrastructure on GCP (e.g., Big Query, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage) Work primarily in Node JS for data extraction and transformationBuild and optimize data orchestration and deployment pipelines using Kubernetes and modern CI/CD toolingPartner with frontend teams to expose data via internal dashboards, admin tools, and customer-facing componentsEnsure data reliability, availability, and security across all services and systemsCollaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other engineers to build tools that unlock business insights from large-scale dataHelp define data governance, quality, and observability standardsFin Ops exposure/execution - you will have a lead role on a small team in cost auditing existing cloud infrastructure in GCP and proposing and collaborating on engineering changes needed to optimize cloud spendsMentor other engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence and continuous learningThe Requirements8+ years of experience in backend or platform engineering, with a focus on data-intensive systemsStrong experience with Node.js and modern Java Script/Type Script developmentDeep hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, including Big Query, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, and GKEProficient in Kubernetes for deploying and scaling data servicesWorking knowledge of React for integrating backend systems with internal tools or dashboardsSolid understanding of data modeling, pipelines, and streaming architecturesExperience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for data applicationsStrong experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) – Big Query, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, KubernetesExperience with Fin Ops best practices and auditing proceduresStrong understanding of deduplication to optimize data storage and reduce cloud costsStrong English communication skillsPLEASE SUBMIT YOUR RESUMES IN ENGLISH
